Rabbit circle
Here are some lovely pics of our ‘small’ rabbit family…

The little one is climbing over the others!

Yummy herbs and grass.

Thirsty… lovely ripples on the water surface.

Climbing on the tree stomp makes me so much bigger

Cool colour, cool food.

New babies!
On the 17th May, Rosie gave birth to her first babies!

At the moment we don’t know how many, so this will be another surprise in a week or two…
The other siblings are very proud to be the older ones and I am sure they soon will tell them who the boss is

Pet rabbits
Since our cuties are pet rabbits they go into the house every day.
Save in a box they are carried in small groups into the kitchen which is the only floor without a carpet

And of course they first get something to eat to take away their fear.

Aileen is very lovely and takes special care so they have enough goodies

The boss also gives the little ones a pet once and a while…

When Brigitte is not watching the kids took the rabbits into the living room…

… you can’t imagine how curious the little rabbits are!

If Brigitte discovers the crossing of the rule (rabbits only in the kitchen were there is no carpet since the babies are not house trained yet…) the little ones have to go out into the hutch again… but not without a treat

Outdoor… Indoor
Time goes fast and the babies are already eating food like grass and other greens…

…and carrots

They learned to trust people and they also learned about another place…

… the funny smelling ‘indoor’ ![]()
And I have to say they love it!
Here is Aileen with her favorite Anna

Surprise!
Have a look on today’s picture and count

We have EIGHT babies!!!
I guess they will come out at the weekend.
They made a nice nest and path in their hutch.
When Brigitte opened the door they all lay in the front and then one by one moved back into the hidden nest…
… but this little curious rabbit returned to the front again

Soooooooo cute!
Seven!
The babies are growing pretty fast…

… so Christoph made a ‘slide’ so they can go in and out of the hutch as soon as they are curious to discover the world

Mama Emy already made the first check and was very pleased

This weekend we counted the rabbits and found 5 in one nest under the straw…

… and two more babies in the warmer nest with hairs!
So we have seven little ones and next weekend Rosie is due to add some more

How many babies?
I still don’t know how many babies there are…
They are laying cosy warm under a lot of hairs.

This is a picture from the second day when they were pretty pink

And here is a picture of the 4th day where you can see a colour change.

They must get a fluffy coat ![]()
Can you count the babies?

They are here!
I am a Dad!!!!!
Emy made a cosy nest last night and gave birth to a handful of little rabbits in the morning.

I don’t know how many there are because Brigitte put me out of their hutch in the morning…
All I can say is there must be a lot because the whole downy nest was moving and I saw 3 pink babies

I am already excited to see the boss ![]()
He forgot to make the hutch baby safe… so I will give him one of my famous looks…
Autumn paradise!
Mmmmm! What a wonderful smell!
We got a lot of wonderful poplar leaves in our run out (yeah, I still hang around here
)

Emy is such a beauty…

The kids come in some time to play with us…

Even David behaves well *g

Mmmm, I love to munch this leaves! Our autumn is absolutely splendid!

Finally!
The boss finally saw it would be better to move me into the girls paradise so they don’t try to break out again
Oh man is that a cool hutch!

How do you manage to get down here?

Hey girls! Here I am!
